To showcase audio files on this website, you need to upload them to YouTube.

Therefore the first thing you need to do is make your audio file into one of the file types accepted by YouTube. These are:

Windows Media Video (.WMV)
.3GP (cell phones)
.AVI (windows)
.MOV (mac)
.MP4 (ipod/psp)
.MPEG
.FLV (adobe flash)
.MKV (h.264)

The easiest way to to do this, is to open your audio file in Windows Movie Maker, which comes with Microsoft Windows from XP onwards. Using this software you can "Publish Movie" or "Make Movie" which will save your file type as a WMV which can be uploaded onto YouTube. The nice thing about using Windows Movie Maker is that you can also include still images to accompany your sound recording and make them all part of t your WMV movie.
