This is a website to share information on Bristol’s rivers and streams. There are a wealth of waterways in Bristol, hidden away beneath our streets, behind our walls and nestling within our open spaces. Most of us don't even realise they are there. But for those who have discovered these hidden gems, there is a world of wildlife, history, tranquillity and amazing engineering feats opened up ready for exploring and enjoying.If you would like to add information, such as events that are taking place, you will find a contact person listed under under ‘River Groups’. Safety! Please be careful at all times near rivers especially during and after rain as the banks can be slippery in places and the water can be deep at times.
